In the context of continuous improvement of the production process, significant investments in technological and mechanical equipment are fulfilled. Simultaneously, workforce is specialized in the new production processes. Company acquires well established collaborations with specialized structural engineers, BIM designers, independent contractors of special painting system applications, control laboratories, that fully satisfying today’s projects requirements. Company applies ISO 9001 quality management system (QMS), and since 2019, EN 1090-2 production control system. Company’s long term goal is to deliver successful projects and build a unique trust-relationship with each customer.
”METALLOTECHNIA” has been active for more than four decades in the steel building construction industry. It was established in 1980 by Mr. Evaggelos Georgiadis and its initial core business was the low scale decorative steel constructions. Over those years, project commissioning of several special constructions, leads to the acquisition of high experience and technical know-how. Subsequently the erection of privately owned facilities with a total covered area of 2000 m2 was completed. That investment allowed during the 1990s the hosting of larger projects and finally the transition of its core business to industrial building constructions. Ever since, it has been the company’s main field of activity.
Company’s continuous optimization of the production process, derived from its owner’s dedication, ultimately resulted to an upward trajectory and made it one of the most competitive companies in the market. Between 1990-2010, the company delivered dozens of projects, mainly industrial buildings. A milestone project in the company’s history is the construction of the entrance steel shelters at the passenger terminal of Thessaloniki Airport (SKG) (2003).
In 2011, Dimitrios Georgiadis and Stavroula Georgiadou took over company’s management, under the name ”GEORGIADIS DIMITRIOS & Co L.P.”
