Since 1980, when the company was founded by Evangelos Georgiadis, our main focus has been on metal constructions enabling us to acquire exceptional expertise and market knowledge, while also being able to respond to any construction challenge with specific technical requirements.\u00a0<\/p>

Our privately owned facilities in Kardia, Thessaloniki, are constructed, covering a total area of 6.000 square meters, of which 2.000 square meters are covered. The transition from decorative constructions to heavy industrial-type constructions takes place.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

The production process is reorganized and adapted to the needs of larger projects. The company purchases new machinery with greater cutting\/drilling capacity and establishes an erection department with its own crane trucks\/lifting vehicles. <\/div><\/div><\/div>

Emblematic projects<\/h4>

Among the structures implemented are iconic projects such as the metal entrance canopies at the passenger terminal of Thessaloniki airport \u00abMakedonia\u00bb (2003). The 600-ton metal structure was successfully delivered in accordance with quality requirements and within strict deadlines. This project contributed to improving the know-how and quality of very large-scale constructions.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Second generation<\/h4>
The company's management passes to the second generation under the name \u00abGEORGIADIS DIMITRIOS & CO, LP\u00bb. Dimitrios Georgiadis (Structural Engineer) and Stavroula Georgiadou (Spatial Planning and Development, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) take over to continue the company's successful course. Projects with high technical difficulty are completed, a design department is established and each construction is depicted in a three-dimensional model.<\/div><\/div><\/div>

New technologies<\/h4>
Significant investments are being made in state-of-the-art mechanical equipment (CNC). Plasma (H\/D), Laser Fiber, CNC press brake, design software (solidworks, gstarcad, metallix, etc.) have breathed new life into the production process. Production times have been significantly reduced, while at the same time the quality of processing has greatly improved. <\/div><\/div><\/div>

The company is equipped with an automatic marking\/cutting\/drilling line, which gives a new boost to the production process, reducing production time at this stage by almost 1\/3.
